Description
BTLIII2000 Battle III 2000 Spinning Reel
Penn Battle III Spinning Reels have gotten a significant upgrade! Penn has designed the Battle III in the image of the popular Slammer III and Spinfisher VI reels. Not only do they share the same body style but the Battle III now features Penn’s CNC Gearing system. This makes the reel stronger, smoother and more durable. The 1000-5000 sizes feature a brass pinion and aluminum main gear while the 6000-10000 models have a brass pinion and brass main gear for extra strength! The lineup now goes from 1000-10000 models and you get a lot for your money! All aluminum construction, Penn’s top of the line HT-100 drag system and six sealed stainless steel ball bearings.
Penn has made all of these changes to the Battle and has been able to reduce the overall weight in every single model so you will be able to fish longer and have more fun! The addition of the 10000 model is terrific as so many anglers fish the Battle for shark and big game, especially in Florida. The increased line capacity paired with 40 lb of drag at an affordable price is killer! Penn Battle III Spinning Reels are also available in high speed models in the 4000, 6000 and 8000 sizes. Guys who need extra inches per crank are going to gravitate to them. The Battle has been a winner for years and the improvements Penn made to produce the Battle III will only make it more desirable. If you love fishing Penn reels, you have to add a Penn Battle III to your fishing arsenal!
Whatever you fish for, there is a Battle III for you!
