The NMEA 2000 power cable is used to supply dedicated power to an NMEA 2000 network backbone. Designed without an inline fuse, it allows installers to connect directly to an existing fused circuit, providing flexibility in custom wiring layouts and system designs.
Built to NMEA 2000 standards, this cable features a molded 5 pin Micro C connector on one end and stripped wire leads on the other for direct connection to a vessel’s DC power system. The marine grade jacket and sealed connector are designed to withstand vibration, moisture, and corrosion commonly found in onboard environments.
This power cable is typically installed at a power injection tee along the network backbone, near the center of the system layout. It is ideal for OEM builds, refits, and replacement installations where fuse placement is handled externally and precise control over power routing is required.
